Salmos 130

¹ «A Song of degrees.» Out of theBeing in great distress and sorrow.depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

² Lorde, heare my voyce: let thine eares attend to the voyce of my prayers.

³ If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord,He declares that we cannot be just before God but by forgiveness of sins.who shall stand?

⁴ But [there is] forgiveness with thee, that thouBecause by nature you are merciful therefore the faithful revere you.mayest be feared.

⁵ I haue waited on the Lord: my soule hath waited, and I haue trusted in his worde.

⁶ My soule waiteth on the Lorde more then the morning watch watcheth for the morning.

⁷ Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD [there is]He shows to whom the mercy of God belongs, that is, Israel, to the Church and not the reprobate.mercy, and with him [is] plenteous redemption.

⁸ And he shall redeeme Israel from all his iniquities.
